Britney Spears had to get in the zone before saying “I do” to her new husband, Sam Asghari.
The pop star revealed on Friday that she “had a panic attack” before marrying Asghari in an intimate ceremony at their California home one day prior.

“Wow!!! Holy holy crap!!! WE DID IT!!! WE GOT MARRIED 👰🏼♀️!!! Gggggeeeeezzzzz!!! It was the most spectacular day!!!” the 40-year-old musician captioned a series of wedding photos on Instagram.
“I was so nervous all morning but then at 2:00 pm it really hit me…WE’RE GETTING MARRIED 💍!!!” she continued. “I had a panic attack and then got it together 🙄🙄🙄.”
Spears did not elaborate on the specifics that caused the attack, but it is possible that her ex-husband Jason Alexander’s attempt to crash the wedding may have contributed.

Alexander, 40, live-streamed himself breaking into the “Toxic” crooner’s home on Thursday afternoon, just hours prior to the ceremony. He was eventually arrested and charged with trespassing, vandalism and battery, and Spears and Asghari, 28, were granted a restraining order against him on Friday.
Despite her nerves and Alexander’s actions, Spears described her big day with the actor as a “dream” come true.
“The crew who created our home into literally a dream castle were fantastic!!! The ceremony was a dream and the party was even better 🎉!!! So many incredible people came to our wedding and I’m still in shock 😱!!!”
Spears also gave a shout-out to some of her famous friends who attended the ceremony, including “girl crush” Drew Barrymore and Selena Gomez, “who btw is way prettier in person if that’s possible.”

She then celebrated kissing Madonna “again” and dancing “into the night” with Paris Hilton before showing appreciation to Donatella Versace, who created her custom wedding gown, jeweler Stephanie Gottlieb for designing the newlyweds’ rings, and Charlotte and Sofia Tillbury for doing her makeup.
Spears and Asghari met on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video in 2016 and got engaged in September 2021. They announced in April that they were expecting their first child together, but Spears sadly miscarried a few weeks later.
